TAB, which was previously called Crowdsurfer, is the world’s most comprehensive source of intelligence on the alternative finance market, particularly via growth over the past 18 months. It analyses detailed deal-side data from more platforms than any other data intelligence firm. Crowdfunding – both equity and debt – is becoming a powerful element of fintech but has been hampered by a lack of information.

Crowdsurfer is a tool for understanding, promoting, progressing and contributing to a more open financial world. It has agreed to partner with Chinese-UK big data company BBD UK and the Academy of Internet Finance at Zhejiang University to create the first global index on online marketplaces, helping to further establish TAB as the go-to data authority and potentially open up the Chinese market.

On a mission to revolutionise the £2trillion cash-saving market, Insignis aims to be a single point of entry to the best range of UK bank savings accounts for individuals, charities, local authorities, companies and financial advisors who hold cash savings, delivered through a single online platform and via a telephone app.

Insignis has created CashTech, a platform that tracks more than 1,000 UK savings accounts daily, enabling them to open accounts and place savings at the click of a button.

Charities have £15.5billion in UK banks, much of which is earning little or no interest. A 1% return through the CashTech platform could create £150million additional income for worthy causes every year.

For the first time, online investors can invest alongside professionals and receive the same class of share and price per share. It has helped more than 100 companies raise more than £82million.

Last year, SyndicateRoom expanded into the capital equity markets, becoming the only platform to give investors access to both private and public opportunities, enabling investors to diversify their portfolios. It also provides liquidity – never before seen in the equity crowdfunding space.
