An annual conference for those working in the transport industry was another hit for organisers Woodfines solicitors.

The event, at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, attracted 125 delegates, making it bigger than last year’s event held at the same venue.

Keynote speaker at the Woodfines Transport Conference was East of England traffic commissioner Richard Turfitt.

Stephen Goddard, head of business development at Woodfines, which has a Cambridge office, said: “We were very pleased.

“There were 125 people who came from all across the country. We had local people who were joined by others from Kent, Surrey, Milton Keynes and Oxford. It was bigger than
last year.”

Mike Hayward, head of regulatory at Woodfines, added: “We welcomed old and new delegates to the conference and provided legal updates on issues faced by the transport industry.

“This included advice on employment, commercial, litigation and regulatory matters.

“We were proud to have hosted our annual transport and compliance event at Duxford.”
