Clean Bandit violinist Neil Milan announces that he is leaving the group.

Neil, and band members Jack Patterson and Grace Chatto met as undergraduates at Jesus College.

The news was announced of social media. Milan (Amin-Smith when he attended Cambridge University) said: “I have learned so much and seen so many things and it will all stay with me forever.”

Clean Bandit rose to fame in 2014 after a collaboration with Jess Glynne, ‘Rather Be’, reached number one in the UK Singles Chart, and won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

The band have also posted a statement on Facebook that said performances of ‘Tears’ over the summer were Neil’s last shows with Clean Bandit.
