Students at the Stephen Perse Foundation became fashion designers for a Project Runway-style competition using only recycled materials.
Each week the students are given a creative challenge to create a garment in 60 minutes using a different range of recycled materials each time.
The concept is based on the American TV series, Project Runway, in which contestants compete to create the best clothes and are restricted by time, materials and theme.
For the Stephen Perse version, the judging panel is made up of teachers, and no one is eliminated.
Head of visual arts Ben Keeble said: “The project will challenge students’ creative thinking, collaborative skills, and the ability to work swiftly under pressure.”
