The hotel on Station Road will be celebrating Chocolate Week from October 9-15 with the ultimate afternoon tea.
Chocoholics are in for a treat as they tuck into triple chocolate brownies decorated with silky ganache and delicate edible flowers. Dark chocolate lollipops adorned with white chocolate chips and sprinkled with icing sugar complete the eye-catching plate.
For the ultimate indulgence why not replace traditional loose-leaf tea with a rich, creamy cup of hot chocolate for £3.50 before helping yourself to more cakes and pastry masterpieces – all freshly baked by Tamburlaine’s renowned pastry chef, Jérôme Viard?
Guests can enjoy a carefree afternoon in the breathtakingly beautiful Garden Room at Tamburlaine, which boasts a colonial-style wall mural, lush green foliage and gorgeous velvet sofas – a visual feast before afternoon tea is even served.
Other delights on the menu include sandwiches, homemade scones served with strawberry preserve and Devonshire clotted cream, raspberry and passion fruit iced parfait, and carrot cake.
