Amazon names Cambridge the UK’s most romantic city for Valentine’s Day

A Cambridge street also came sixth in the most romantic street names vote.

Cambridge residents have purchased more Valentine’s Day products on, per capita, than anywhere else in the country over the last four weeks.

The online retailler has called it the UK’s most romantic city.

People in Cambridge bought more romantic films than other cities, and the most heart-shaped chocolate moulds and cookie cutters.

Manchester bought the most romantic music while the most poetry was bouth in Brighton.

Shoppers in Leeds bought the most black satin silk bed sheets and heart-shaped candles.

Sales of engagement ring boxes, engagement confetti and banners, and even wedding planners and silk flower arrangements were highest Glasgow, the UK’s third most romantic city.

Cambridge’s Sweetpea Way was also voted the UK’s sixth most romantic street name in a vote by Living Streets.
