Cambridge-based choir Vocal Remix will perform a concert of contemporary arrangements on Saturday (July 14) in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The 75-strong choir all suggested charities to raise funds for, with the top three put to a vote. The East Anglian Air Ambulance, which has completed more than 22,000 lifesaving missions since its launch in 2000, came out on top.
Marika Newman, Vocal Remix founder, said: “I’m delighted that Vocal Remix will be raising funds for East Anglian Air Ambulance. They are incredible and every pound raised will help them deliver their life-saving work. Vocal Remix is looking forward to entertaining the audience with arrangements to the music of Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and even a Disney medley, to name a few.”
The East Anglian Air Ambulance is heavily reliant on fundraising. The money raised at this event will help them to support even more people in need.
The concert on Saturday will be at The Lecture Theatre, Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology in Robinson Way at 8pm.
