Do you have any towels or blankets that could keep Blue Cross Cambridge’s kittens cosy through autumn?

Blue Cross pet charity is appealing for towels, blankets and fleeces to keep their cats and kittens warm.
They will be used in the admission unit for all the new cats and kittens coming into the charity’s rehoming centre on Garlic Row.
Members of the public can drop off donations between 10am and 4pm every day, at 20 Garlic Row, Newmarket Road, Cambridge.
Seb Prior, Blue Cross vet, said: “Keeping pets warm and cosy is really important, especially after surgery where they have anaesthetics which makes them unable to control their temperature normally.
“Blankets can also help to make the pets stay in our rehoming centres or hospitals a bit more comfortable.
“They can be very useful for patients that are bruised or sore and need something a little more cushioned and they can also help make the hospital environment seem a little more like a home. We do sometimes use them on the front of cages to give patients a bit of privacy too!”
