Elderly man in collision with cyclist in Cambridge suffers life-threatening injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian and a cyclist collided in Cambridge.

The collision happened at about 2.30pm on Wednesday December 28 in St Andrew’s Street.

The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, in a critical condition.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was uninjured.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision is asked to call the road policing unit on 101.
