Knife-wielding gang steal £30,000 of batteries from Cambridge Services

Police are appealing for information after £30,000 worth of batteries were stolen from a service station in Huntingdon Road, Cambridge.

A security guard was also threatened with a knife during the incident, which happened in the early hours of yesterday morning (Thursday, September 6).

A group of five men wearing dark clothing cut their way into the back of a lorry at Cambridge Services. The men removed three pallets of batteries, before threatening a security guard with a knife and making off in a Ford Transit van and a Ford Focus.
