Signalling problems disrupt train services between Cambridge and London

Passengers travelling between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street this evening (Friday, June 29) face delays or cancellations to services.

The disruption is due to signalling problems in the Whittlesford Parkway area.

Train operator Greater Anglia said in a statement: “Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes. Disruption is expected until further notice.

“Train services between Cambridge and Liverpool Street are currently being disrupted to a signalling equipment fault in the Whittlesford Parkway area. Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 20 minutes can be expected. Engineers are currently on site, and currently dealing with the problem to restore services back to normal as quickly as possible.”
