Another year of very strong academic results have been recorded at The Leys School.

With 92 pupils sitting A-levels this summer, The Leys achieved a 99.3 per cent pass rate.

Three quarters of results were graded A*-B; more than one in five Leysians achieved 3 A grades or more and 42 per cent of subjects were graded A or A*.

Headmaster, Martin Priestley, said: “It is always an honour to be able to congratulate the most able pupils and there were some exceptional individual performances.

“We are also immensely proud of those who exceeded their own expectations through hard work and determination.

“Of course this couldn’t have been achieved without the support and dedication of their teachers who have worked tirelessly to maintain the high standards which have been set in recent years. We wish all this year’s cohort the very best of luck as they embark on the next stage of their academic careers.”
