Thousands of people headed to Cambridge’s historic Midsummer Common on Saturday (November 4) for the city’s annual bonfire and firework celebration.

Up to 20,000 attended the event which is provided by Cambridge City Council and organised by Cambridge Live.

The spectacular display begun at 7pm, with the bonfire lit just after the display finished.

Thurston’s Fun Fair kept the crowd entertained and this year’s charity partner was the East Anglian Children’s Hospices (Each).
