There’s still time to take part in the GCPs travel survey.
People who complete the survey are entered into a free prize draw for a free 02 event with travel or High Street shopping vouchers.
Those who share our prize draw post (from 1st November) and follow us on Twitter and Facebook are in with a chance of winning a VIP match-day experience at Cambridge United. Further information on how to enter and full terms and conditions can be found at www.greatercambridge.org.uk/travelsurvey
There is still time for residents to speak up about the transport improvements they want to see in the Cambridge area.
The survey is being carried out by Travel for Cambridgeshire on behalf of the Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) as part of our ‘Big Conversation’ campaign.
The amount of time motorists sit waiting in traffic in Cambridge and the wider region is expected to double by 2030. The information obtained from the survey will be used to help shape future investment in the transport network.
Cllr Francis Burkitt, chair of the Greater Cambridge Partnership, said: “Thousands of people have completed the survey so far, which will help us build an even more comprehensive picture about how people currently travel around Cambridge and the district. People have also submitted some interesting ideas about how we could improve the transport network in the future.
“Greater Cambridge is growing, with tens of thousands of new homes and jobs being generated – this is a great thing, but we need to ensure people will be able to travel around easily, reliably, fast, at the time they want to, and in a low-polluting way.
“This survey will help us to prioritise future investment in the areas people have told us will make a difference – so please keep those questionnaires coming in!”
You can take part in the survey online at TfC’s website or by completing a questionnaire and posting it back to TfC using freepost. The survey closes on 6 November.
