Traffic diverting through Newmarket is causing severe delays.
The A14 in Cambridgeshire has been reopened westbound between J36 (Six Mile Bottom) and J35 (Stow Cum Quy) after being cloased due to a single vehicle collision involving a HGV.
A lorry collided with the central barrier at around 5am. Initially only the outside lane was closed, but at around 8:20am the road was completely closed for recovery.
All lanes have now been re-opened.
Cambridgeshire Police and Traffic Officers were on scene with 2 heavy recovery trucks carrying out recovery of the vehicle.
Motorists are advised to allow additional travelling time if heading towards the area.
