An upmarket barbers, bar and live music venue is to take the place of Quinn’s on Downing Street in central Cambridge.
Let by Cambridge-based property company Cheffins on behalf of Hilton Cambridge City, the unique barbers and live music venue will be renamed ‘The Roguery’ and is the second location for Rogue Barber, which currently operates on Cherry Hinton Road.
The Roguery is set to be open to the public towards the end of this year. It will offer a lifestyle barber experience incorporating a licensed bar, speciality coffee, live music and events.
The unit is being refitted to incorporate the industrial aesthetic currently present in the Rogue Barber’s Cherry Hinton Road location and services will also include shaves, beard sculpture and shoe shines.
Mark Drummond, commercial agency surveyor at Cheffins, said: “The Roguery will offer an exciting and unique venue for central Cambridge and we are pleased to have been able to let the unit to a local and independent business which ought to help to diversify tenant mix in the area.
“The street sees a high level of footfall and following The Roguery’s extensive refurbishment works, we are sure that this new offering for Cambridge will go from strength to strength.”
The Roguery will be located at 20 Downing Street, Cambridge. Follow the team’s progress on Instagram @theroguery.
