Goals fly in for trio

Aime Fullwood and Sasha Tristram hammered four goals apiece as Cambridge City under-15s triumphed 12-0 over Hungate Rovers in the S-Tech Girls’ League.

Tristram put the Lilywhites ahead, but they needed keeper Rachel Barker to preserve their advantage with a fine save 30 seconds after the restart.

City extended their lead to 4-0 by half time, and went up another gear after the break to score another eight goals, with player-of-the-match Maddie McInnes adding two and Katie Levitt and Niamh Davies getting one apiece.

Ruby Austin hit a hat-trick and Rosanna Mead, Hannah Simpson, Ruby Want and Jada Flatts netted one each as Cambridge City won 7-0 against Cambourne United Blacks in 14A.

Cambridge City under-13s shared the goals around as they defeated Haddenham Rovers 11-2.

With a couple of players away, two under-12s made the step up for the Lilywhites, who found the Haddenham keeper in top form.

A debut goal from Ania Kasperkiewics and one each from Emily White, Bella Axelsson, Lucy Short and Daisy King gave them a 5-1 lead at half time.

Axelsson took her overall tally to four in the second half, Short and White added one more each as Leah Holmes completed the scoring.
