The Royston Museum has stood in the old Congregational Church Schoolroom since 1984 and is an ever-growing history of the town and its people, being of particular interest to those with links to Royston and the surrounding area.

The museum displays artifacts dating from the Stone Age and gives a modern history account of the area too. Local historians can research from the extensive Royston Crow archive,

The museum also boasts a collection of works by local artist Herbert E Whydale as well as some of his own art collections.

There are plenty of cafes to visit in Royston, and visitors can take the oppertunity to find the 13th Century Royston Cave in Katherine’s Yard.
