Bookings for Woodfines’ Logistics Legals conference is now open

Woodfines Solicitors is holding its annual transport conference, this year titled Logistics Legals, at the Airspace Conference Centre, Imperial War Museum, Duxford, on Thursday, November 23.
The conference, which provides key legal updates for logistics professionals, is hosted by Mike Hayward, partner and head of transport at Woodfines. The transport law experts at Woodfines provide legal updates throughout the day and, are joined by experts in the field including:
- Senior traffic commissioner Richard Turfitt will provide delegates with an all-round update
- Phil Breen from the DVSA will be discussing compliance, enforcement earned recognition and the road to earned recognition
- Mark Cartwright, head of commercial vehicle incident prevention at National Highways, will focus on incident prevention
- Marie Biddulph, assistant regional safety co-ordinator (Midlands) at National Highways, will be looking at abnormal loads on the road
- Alistair Warden, managing director – corporate motor Towergate Insurance, will be presenting on how companies can reduce liability and manage risk on the roads.
The conference, in its 18th year, is a highlight in the transport and logistics sector’s calendar.
