Employers were assessed on their policies and practices to support flexible working for parents and carers.

Saul Nassé, chief executive of Cambridge Assessment, which is the University of Cambridge’s international exams group, said: “We have embraced flexible working across Cambridge Assessment in recent years as we have seen how it can increase the motivation of our people, allow them to work more effectively together, and get more done. In doing so, we’re able to reach more learners and create more impact. I’m pleased our approach has been recognised by Working Families.”

Sam Valentine, group employee experience manager at Cambridge Assessment, added: “We’re delighted with this recognition – not just for the recognition itself but because it shows the progress we’ve made over the last couple of years with the support of our Staff Networks and people right the way across Cambridge Assessment.”

Working Families helps parents, carers and their employers find a better balance between responsibilities at home and in the workplace.
