Cambridge-based COEL to fit-out new HQ of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation
COEL has won the contract to provide the complete fit-out and interior of the new headquarters of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation.
The Cambridge-based office design and fit-out specialist has been tasked with providing agile office accommodation for about 70 staff, along with inviting space for members of the public in the Hertfordshire town to access community services such as Discover Letchworth and the Heritage Advisory Service.
Kevin Elstub, COEL’s commercial director, said: “COEL was delighted to win the contract to help bring this exciting community project to fruition. The Heritage Foundation is of intrinsic value to the town and we look forward to helping provide a beautiful new centre for their worthy cause.”
The foundation is currently based on an industrial estate 15 minutes’ walk out of town. The relocation aims to improve productivity, efficiency and customer services.
Mark Coles, executive director property at the foundation, said: “We awarded COEL the contract following a competitive pitch having been impressed by their understanding of our values and vision. This is an exciting move for us and we’re looking forward to have more of our key teams and services under one roof.”
