A new beauty salon is now open in Great Shelford.

CSL Beautiful, which started in King’s Lynn in 2015, was founded by Charlotte Liddiard.

“The response has been really good,” says Charlotte. “At this stage it’s all about getting the word out but we had clients booked in even before we opened.”

The salon’s most popular service is HD brows, which is priced at £30 and takes 30-45 minutes, followed by LVL Lash Lift, a £50 treatment.

“I didn’t want to be an all-round beautician so I specialised,” explains Charlotte, whois originally from Norfolk and lived in Spain for ten years before setting up her own business. The move to Great Shelford was carefully staged - CSL Beautiful started off in 2015.

“Originally CSL was based in King’s Lynn,” Charlotte says, “but we moved to Downham Market while building up the customer base. Downham is close enough to enable customers from King’s Lynn to come.”

Opening hours are 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday, Thursday and Friday, with Saturdays by appointment. The Downham salon is currently open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays “but we’re planning to be in Great Shelford full-time.”

Current promotional activity is based around social media channels, “to get the word out”.
