Cambridge Intelligence also singled out for its growth by The Sunday Times
For the third year running, Cambridge cyber security firm Darktrace has been named among the 10 fastest growing companies in the UK.
It was named in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 list, based on sales growth.
Darktrace, based on St John’s Innovation Park and founded in 2013, has achieved double revenue growth year-on-year and secured contracts worth a total of more than $400 million. It is Cambridge’s newest unicorn – now valued at more than $1.25 billion.

Meanwhile, Cambridge Intelligence was included in The Sunday Times Tech Track Ones to Watch shortlist after recording average sales growth of 42 per cent per annum for the last three years, reaching £5.1million in 2018.
The Hills Road-based company, which provides network visualisation and analysis solutions, has achieved this growth without external investment. More than 180 organisations use its KeyLines technology and the sales forecast for 2019 is £7million.
Joe Parry, founder and CEO of Cambridge Intelligence, said: “Making the Ones to Watch shortlist is a great achievement. Our financial performance reflects our commitment to providing customers with the tools they need to succeed.
“We have ambitious plans for continued growth and innovation, so to be recognised in this way is a real boost. The Fast Track team are going to keep monitoring our business, and we’ll work hard to merit a place in their future league tables.”
