Easy Bathrooms opens doors at new Coral Park showroom

Easy Bathrooms opened its doors to the public at its new Coral Park showroom in Cambridge on Saturday (December 7).

The store had remained empty since the Bathstore brand went into administration in June.

Easy Bathrooms has invested £100,000 into the showroom, installing 60 displays, including tiles, bathroom furniture, radiators and mirrors, and from brands Calypso, Burlington and Heritage. The store also stocks Easy Bathrooms’ own-brand products, which offer ‘affordable luxury’. Tile options include interior design-led ranges such as wood-effect, marble-effect, geometric and patterned. Bathroom products include towel rails, designer radiators, walk-in showers and freestanding baths.

The showroom is Easy Bathrooms’ 43rd nationally, with plans to open 12 more in 2020. 2019 was its best financial year since it was founded in 2012, launching 16 stores throughout the UK, with turnover topping £20million at the end of 2018. This year saw this turnover grow by 60 per cent.

The store has employed four full-time sales and bathroom expert staff, including Megan Knightley, who formerly worked at Bathstore.

Megan said: “Our products are beautiful, but affordable – especially because we offer finance – and I think it’s brilliant that we can offer this to people locally. ”

Founded in 2013, Easy Bathrooms employs 270 UK staff. The showroom offers free 3D software for bathroom design. It’s open seven days a week, from 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm on Saturdays and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
