Expedeon becomes a preferred supplier for Babraham-based Cell Guidance Systems
Over-based Expedeon AG has signed a supply and licence agreement with Cell Guidance Systems on Babraham Research Campus.
It will use Expedeon’s proprietary Lightning-Link Rapid Biotin technology for the development and production of its TRIFic immunoassays.
Lightning-Link technology is used for the direct labelling of antibodies or proteins for use in R&D applications, drug discovery and the development of diagnostic kits.
It enables the direct conjugation of biomolecules to either Biotin or Streptavidin with only 30 seconds hands on time and with 100 per cent recovery of materials.
Cell Guidance Systems, established in 2010, develops therapeutic products along with medical research tools and technologies.
It has been using Expedeon’s Lightning-Link technology for more than two years. Under the terms of the new deal, Expedeon becomes its preferred immunoreagent supplier.
