Fora opens flexible workspace office in Cambridge’s Station Road area
Fora, the flexible workspace provider that forms part of The Office Group, has opened its first flexible workspace in Cambridge, situated on Station Road.
Fora aims to reimagine the working experience “by bringing together the best elements of modern offices, hotels, members’ clubs and flexible workspaces under one roof”. Fora’s spaces feature an office space as one element in creating communities, collaboration and fostering employee wellbeing.
The service office space company’s new location was developed by Brookgate and is owned by PSP Investments and Aviva Investors. It will span 65,000 sq ft over six floors and will help meet demand for high-quality, flexible office space in the city.
Enrico Sanna, CEO of The Office Group, said: “Cambridge has been on our radar from day one and we are proud to be opening our first workspace here. The historic city is home to a thriving business community and has a rich history of innovation, excellence and entrepreneurship – which aligns with our own culture and ethos.
“Every element of our new space will be constructed to optimise the customer experience. From its striking design, wide range of amenities and central location, we believe it will be somewhere people will enjoy and actively choose to be day-to-day.
“We are perfectly positioned to meet Cambridge’s growing demand for flexible space and look forward to being part of the community.”
The primary communal space – The Garden Room – sits on the top floor, with skyline views over the city. It comprises a welcome lounge, where people can relax and socialise, areas for quiet work, as well as booth seating for collaboration – to meet all working needs. The property has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
Residents will also benefit from facilities and amenities including an alfresco terrace, on-site café, a wellness studio, showers, changing rooms, cycle storage and parking, with EV fast chargers available.
