Get your entries in to the 2024 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards
It’s time to get your entries in to the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2024.
Nominations are open across 15 categories, from Start-up of the Year to Life Science Company of the Year.
New this year is a Software Company of the Year category, sponsored by Mantle Space.
There are also two categories for individuals, who can nominate themselves or be nominated by others: Researcher of the Year and CEO of the Year.
The ceremony for the awards will be held in May and will be attended by hundreds of leading lights from a range of science and technology sectors.
Railpen, which looks after one of the UK's largest and longest established pension funds, is among the new sponsors for 2024. It is backing the Award for Innovation, which attracts entries from a range of sectors.
Matthew Howard, head of property at Railpen, which is investing heavily in Cambridge, said: “Railpen are delighted to support these awards, celebrating the brightest, forward-thinking organisations within science and technology. The Award for Innovation is a particularly exciting category, where we can put the spotlight on organisations who are truly pioneering and dedicated to the pursuit of progress.”
Entry is free online via this form and closes at the end of the month. The nominations will be judged by an expert panel. Shortlisted finalists will get free tickets to the ceremony, which has established an international reputation and is the premier awards for science and technology in the Cambridge region.

There is also the In Search of Wonder Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by JDJ Creative, which is not open for public entry.

THE RULES
Entrants must have a base within the Cambridge Independent circulation area.
Nominees can enter more than one category. You can enter multiple categories with one form, or choose to submit different entries for different categories to enable you to tailor your entry.
Nominations are open now and close at 11pm on January 31, 2024.
Individuals can nominate themselves, or be nominated, for the Researcher of the Year and CEO of the Year categories.
Previous nominees and winners are welcome to enter.
