Jumptech partnership enables RAW charging power rollout

The just-forged partnership between installation software company Jumptech and chargepoint operator (CPO) RAW Charging will soon be delivering results.

Jumptech is accelerating the worldwide adoption of electric vehicles and green, clean technologies by streamlining installations and connecting all the parties. Its software platform integrates the end-to-end process from enquiry to commissioning, providing everyone with the necessary tools and visibility. By enabling a streamlined and self-service customer journey, automating and simplifying all back office admin tasks, installers of EV charge points and other low carbon technologies can efficiently scale up.

RAW Charging is one of the largest UK providers of electric vehicle charging solutions to blue-chip customers with multiple sites across the UK and Europe. As a charging station operator (CPO), RAW is helping to deliver a once-in-a-generation electric vehicle opportunity, building one of the UK’s largest networks of EV chargers, focused exclusively on destination charging. Through its European signature partnership with ChargePoint, operator of the world’s largest and most sophisticated network of over 111,000 connected chargers, RAW already has framework and management agreements with customers who own in excess of £100bn of commercial property in UK and Europe.

Last month RAW, which is headquartered in Leeds, raised £250million from private equity firm Antin Infrastructure Partners to accelerate the chargepoint operator’s installation pipeline of 10,000 charging points in the next three years.

With a target of more than 1,000 charging points in operation by December 2022, RAW Charging is looking to Bradfield Centre-based Jumptech to increase install volumes.

The fit works because Jumptech’s technology accelerates install volumes while maintaining visibility of the status of each project, and RAW Charging receives a detailed completion report – automatically generated by the platform – summarising the charge point installation.

Jumptech’s mobile app will ensure the engineers have access to all the information they need to perform the installation to RAW’s required standards, and all details, photographs and documentation will be passed back in real time to RAW Charging once the charge point becomes operational.
