Mantle Space to operate 95 Regent Street in Cambridge as flexible workspace
Mantle Space has added 95 Regent Street in Cambridge to its portfolio of flexible working spaces.
It has signed a six-year lease on the distinctive building in a prominent city centre site, which will house more than 400 desks.
Featuring 22,500 sq ft of office space, meeting rooms and breakout areas, 95 Regent Street also has a roof terrace for events with up to 70 people.
Owned by property investor and developer Howard Group, it lies a 10-minute walk from Cambridge station.
Guy Baker, Mantle CEO, said: “Our focus is on flexible workspaces in central locations with contemporary interiors, striking design and high-quality finishes – and all the equipment and resources a business needs.
“Our spaces offer a variety of flexible membership plans and access to all of our locations. So, if you need more space, we can grow with you – and, if you need space in another location, either for a day or something more permanent, we can accommodate that too.”
It becomes Mantle Space’s third flexible working space in Cambridge – along with The Bradfield Centre and Nine Hills Road.
It means the company is the largest flexible space operator in the city, in terms of space occupied.
Nicholas Bewes, CEO, Howard Group, added: “We are delighted to welcome Mantle Space to 95 Regent Street. The iconic building, at the gateway to the city centre, is a superb fit alongside Mantle’s existing portfolio of flexible workspace locations in Cambridge, all of which have made a very positive impact across the city.
“Like Howard Group, Mantle is also a family-owned business and as such we have many shared characteristics and common values. We are really looking forward to working with them as they further expand their flexible office space offering in the heart of Cambridge, bringing fresh energy and vibrance to this landmark building.”
Outside the city, Mantle Space’s portfolio also includes The Officers' Mess at Duxford, a restored and historic venue offering serviced offices and co-working spaces, and Thremhall Park, set in 12 acres of parkland near Stansted. It also operates properties in Oxfordshire, Chelmsford and Stevenage.
The company also hosts regular networking events at each of its locations, with speakers from a range of businesses, while its centres also feature indoor and outdoor events throughout the year, such as business exhibitions, seminars and charity fundraisers, while Thremhall Park is known for the classic and supercar event Pistons at the Park.
