Milton Hall is situated in six acres of landscaped gardens, making it an ideal place to do business – and it has been awarded NQA Covid Secure Guideline Verification.

The site, an independently owned grade II-listed Georgian manor house in Milton, just to the north of Cambridge, provides serviced office space, virtual offices and meeting room hire – all of which boast contemporary design together with high-specification technology.

Fully refurbished in 2013 the site, which also boasts plenty of free parking, has remained open throughout the entire coronavirus pandemic.

Changes implemented amid the Covid-19 restrictions include floor markings, increased hand sanitising, controlled usage of meeting rooms and kitchen spaces, limited contact within certain areas, and enhanced cleaning – for example, all high-touch points such as door handles are wiped down throughout the day, as well as in the evening.

Tanya Price, Milton Hall’s sales and marketing director, said: “We’ve maintained contact with our tenants right the way through, informing them of different procedures we’ve put into place and how we’re working – and how they want us to help them, obviously it’s a difficult situation that everyone’s in.

“Luckily, because we’re all based on site, we have a very good relationship with our tenants so we were able to adapt quickly to customer requirements to ensure we were providing the service they needed.

“The extensive grounds provide companies within the building the opportunity to hold their meetings outside and in the summer people bring picnic blankets. It just brings a different aspect to normal office life.”

Tanya added: “It is good for people’s mental health to be able to come in and not sit at their desk all day – they can go for a walk round the grounds. And Milton Country Park is close by if six acres isn’t enough for them.”

There is a healthy demand for office space at Milton Hall, despite the pandemic.

“We still have viewings – we’ve had enquiries from companies which are in long-term, traditional leases who are now looking for something much more flexible,” said Tanya, “people don’t know how their business will be affected by Covid-19 and Brexit.

“Serviced offices enable companies to take the space they need with the flexibility of being able to expand as necessary. Milton Hall offers an all-inclusive service so businesses don’t need to worry about the day-today running of an office, they can concentrate on building their business.”
