Milton Hall offers ideal working environment for body and mind

As we emerge from lockdown and return to our workplaces, the value of open space has never been more apparent.

Those fortunate enough to work at Milton Hall benefit from a six-acre site, with landscaped grounds to walk around.

The outdoor space is ideal for an al fresco lunch, and the team at Milton Hall actively encourage outdoor meetings.

“We have picnic benches to enable people to escape from their desk,” says Tanya Price, Milton Hall’s sales and marketing director. “Tenants have used the grounds for informal drinks receptions in the past. And we have a marquee that can be hired too.”

In the summer, Milton Hall tenants bring picnic blankets and spread out on the lawn.

As we all know, the risk of Covid transmission is significantly reduced outdoors, but the grounds at the independently owned grade II-listed Georgian manor house have other benefits too.

Fresh air, life outdoors and a connection to nature have been shown to have a positive impact on our wellbeing and mental health - something many people have found during the last year.

Research has shown that access to nature reduces stress and negative emotions, makes us feel happier, promotes positive social interactions and even helps us sleep better.

Studies have proven that aspects of our thinking - such as memory, attention and creativity - are boosted by spending time in green environments.

The hall, which features ample free parking, is also a short walk from Milton Country Park for those looking for a longer lunchtime stroll or cycle ride.

Inside, the large, airy offices all have windows to ensure all-important ventilation.

The hall achieved NQA Covid Secure Guideline Verification, with the aid of measures such as floor markings, increased hand sanitising, controlled usage of meeting rooms and kitchen spaces and enhanced cleaning. All regular touchpoints, such as door handles, are wiped down throughout the day, as well as in the evening.

A variety of space is available - from single-person offices to larger spaces for growing companies.

Serviced office space is offered, meeting rooms can be booked and there is the option of a virtual office, providing a professional business address, meaning there is great flexibility in how tenants return to work.

“Milton Hall offers an all-inclusive service so businesses don’t need to worry about the day-to-day running of an office,” adds Tanya.
