Mission Street unveiled as CEO of the Year sponsor at the 2023 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards
Mission Street has been unveiled as sponsor of this year’s CEO of the Year category at the 2023 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards.
The company is a real estate investor, operator and developer focused on the delivery of creative solutions for the evolving science and innovation sector.
The company said: “Our mission is to become the partner of choice for the UK’s research and innovation sector, supporting the entire life cycle from discovery to R&D and manufacturing.
“Our growing development portfolio includes over 1,000,000 square feet of committed projects in Cambridge, Oxford, and Bristol.
“We are a major investor in Cambridge, bringing forward the 23-acre Coldhams Lane development and The Press, Foxton.”
Construction has begun on delivering the 100,000 sq ft life science facility in Foxton.
The Press is being created by Mission Street with BentallGreenOak (BGO).
They aim to transform the 7.8-acre site into a science and innovation campus by sensitively repositioning the former printing press and combining it with a state-of-the-art new build.
CEO of the Year is always an exciting contest, with the title taken home last year by Mark Kotter, of bit.bio. It has previously been won by the likes of Martin Frost, of CMR Surgical, and by Loubna Bouarfa, of OKRA.ai.
The awards will take place on May 18 at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
