Motor Show East is on the starting grid
Put June 2nd and 3rd at Rowley Mile in your diary!
The inaugural Motor Show East, which will take place at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile on June 2 and 3, promises to be a whole lot of fun for a family day out. Motor dealers confirmed so far include EMG Motor Group (with Kia and Mazda); Buckingham & Stanley (MG and Subaru); Wallis & Son (classic and prestige car leasing, rentals); Rawlinsons (Renault, Mitsubishi and Dacia); Crown Garage (Honda) and Vindis (Audi and Ducati).
“We were keen to appear at Motor Show East, with it being a local celebration for everything automotive,” said sales director Kevin Green at Buckingham & Stanley. “With Buckingham & Stanley being in its fiftieth year of trading we thought it a good opportunity to showcase some of the brand new products available from our brand partners MG and Subaru.
“Both have a very dynamic, fresh range of vehicles which seem to be offering something different to the mainstream manufacturers.”
Among the stands at the event you’ll find a food hall run by Taste of Anglia, along with specialist car paint protection and branding firm Jules Sturgess, valeting firm Tyler & Oakham, pottery and glass seller Ceramika, gin firm Pinkster Gin, Electric Bike Sales, plus corporate events and training firm Explore 4x4.
Electric Bike Sales manager Eddie Kehoe said: “Electric Bike Sales is really looking forward to being at the first Motor Show East.
“We’ll be showcasing a variety of electric bikes from the basic to the most advanced, plus there will be a demonstration area which will allow members of the public to experience the delights of electric cycling power for themselves. See you there!”
Pop along to the incredible Rowley Mile for the weekend where you’ll also find kids activities including a bouncy castle, bouncy slide, zorbs on water, mini boats, trampolines, a face painter and balloon modelling among lots of other activities and stalls with lots of ways of getting involved.
Overall sponsors are Mattioli Woods, with the food hall being sponsored by real ale brand Old Speckled Hen.
