New business Pedal & Sweep brings low-emission chimney sweeping to Cambridge

Toby Parsonage is bringing ‘low-emission chimney sweeping’ to the city with his new business, Pedal & Sweep.

He travels everywhere by bike to bring the service to customers.

Toby said: “I started Pedal & Sweep with a simple goal: to help keep Cambridge’s chimneys safe and clean without puffing extra pollution into the environment.

“I’ve swapped the usual van for a trusty cargo bike, brushing up chimneys and my carbon footprint at the same time!

“I was born and bred in Cambridge and have almost a decade of experience installing and sweeping stoves and fireplaces, so I’m delighted to have launched the business and am open for bookings now.”
