OKRA.ai to collaborate with AWS for Health initiative




OKRA.ai is to collaborate with the AWS for Health initiative from Amazon Web Services to help upskill pharmaceutical companies hoping to use technology to engage with physicians and lower the costs of commercialising new treatments.

The initiative offers services and solutions from AWS and its partners for healthcare, biopharma and genomics.

Meanwhile, the ‘commercial brain’ built by Cambridge-based OKRA.ai enables life science companies to connect vast amounts of data and improve the scale and agility with which they can engage and communicate with doctors.

The collaboration is designed to enables companies to roll out solutions quickly, internationally, and integrated within their existing infrastructure.

OKRA.ai CEO Dr Loubna Bouarfa said the company has “built the most sophisticated AI brain for life sciences, with a range of AI applications that are empowering pharmaceutical staff to shorten the time to impact across critical parts of the value chain, including value access and pricing, medical affairs and commercial”.
