Stagecoast East appoints new Cambridge operations manager

Stagecoach East has a new operations manager, Martin Marsh, who takes the wheel as the transport company looks to steer towards a more effective and resilient future.

Martin is just the man for the job. He has extensive experience at Stagecoach East, having previously been interim operations manager at both Cambridge and Peterborough, and then operations manager in Bedford.

He was recently shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious, national Route One Awards in the ‘Manager of the Year, Small/Medium Operator’ category for his work at previous depots.

Martin said: “Cambridge is such a vibrant place, full of inspiring and forward-looking people, so we are working very hard to provide a local bus network that will meet its needs, through all the challenges of congestion.”

Ross Barton, operations director of Stagecoach East, said: “Martin is a capable leader who brings some excellent ideas for development.

“We are delighted to have him rejoin the Cambridge depot and I look forward to continuing to work together into the future.”
