The grape and the good: Nominations are open for the Cambridge Independent Employee Awards

Anyone can nominate a member of staff who has gone above and beyond, achieved distinguished long service or who constantly overperforms.

The Cambridge Independent Employee Awards are open for nominations.

Winners will receive a prize from one of our sponsors, including Cambridge Fruit Company. Owner Neil Bharadwa said: “We’ve been supplying fresh fruit to the employees of hundreds of local businesses- from hot start-ups to established blue-chips. It made perfect sense to team up with the Cambridge Independent to sponsor the Employee Awards.

“The message we get back from our customers is that their staff really valued and recognised when an employer supplies additional benefits like free fresh fruit in the workplace.

“This contributes to employee health and well-being, staff retention and, most importantly, employees who want to go over and above for their employer. It’s great to recognise those employees who offer outstanding performance for their companies.”
