Watch the highlights and see the pictures from the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2019
The winners of the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2019 were announced in a ceremony at the Bradfield Centre on Cambridge Science Park.
This year, there were 15 categories, including CEO of the Year, Life Science Company of the Year and Technology Company of the Year.
Entrepreneur Charles Cotton, founder of the Cambridge Phenomenon, and an experienced director of public and private companies, spoke at the awards, which he had also helped to judge.
He recalled working with Clive Sinclair in the 1980s, and spoke about how the number of knowledge-intensive companies in Cambridge had rocketed.
Here are the highlights from the event.
The networking reception was sponsored by HSBC.

The event was live streamed on the Cambridge Independent Facebook page. You can watch the event in full here.
