Winners of the Cambridge Independent Entrepreneurial Science and Technology Awards revealed
A ceremony at Newmarket Racecourse attracted some of the brightest entrepreneurs in the region.
The winners of the Cambridge Independent Entrepreneurial Science and Technology Awards have been announced.
In a ceremony at Newmarket Racecourse on Thursday September 21, following the Venturefest East business showcase, a collection of brilliant start-up and scale-up companies were honoured.
Editor Paul Brackley, who hosted the event, said: “We were delighted to celebrate the extraordinary talent of these companies. These awards, held on the Cambridge Independent’s first birthday, honoured some incredible entrepreneurs poised to make a big difference to the world we live in.”
Awards were handed out in five categories: Artificial intelligence, biotech, cleantech, fintech and medtech.
The awards were sponsored by Appleyard Lees, Grant Thornton, Regus and Woodfines Solicitors.
Additional support was offered by World Science Aid, The World Nano Foundation, Enabling Tech Capital, AstraZeneca, ideaSpace and Cambridge Plants.
