Winners of the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2019 revealed
The winners of the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2019 have been revealed at a packed ceremony at The Bradfield Centre on Cambridge Science Park.
Now in their third year, and supported by a stellar cast of sponsors, the awards are a celebration of the depth of talent across the Cambridge region.
With 15 categories, including two for individuals, the awards attracted a record number of entries.
The winners were determined by a panel of judges, which also highly commended some finalists.
The event began with a networking reception, sponsored by HSBC, with more than 200 people attending.
Editor Paul Brackley, who hosted the awards, said: “It was fantastic to celebrate the talent and innovation in our region. I would like to congratulate all our finalists, particularly our winners, and thank our sponsors for helping us to hold this uplifting event.”
Look out for further in-depth coverage of the winners, and for a souvenir supplement in the Cambridge Independent, out from November 6.
The awards will return in 2020. For information, get in touch by emailing paul.brackley@iliffemedia.co.uk.
