Prospective Anglia Ruskin University students will be able to use the latest technology to tour the facilities on its campuses without leaving the comfort of their own home

Anglia Ruskin has today launched its Virtual Open Day (VOD) service, which includes video tours of Chelmsford and Cambridge, campus maps with information about buildings, and overviews of the five faculties.

360-degree tours will be available in the new year.

Anglia Ruskin’s Virtual Open Day allows prospective applicants to explore and get a feel of life at the university without leaving home.

It also provides a chance for people to have a second look at any areas they may have missed if they have previously attended an Open Day.

Andrea Turley, Director of Marketing at Anglia Ruskin University, said: “The experience of visiting a university in person is vital for people looking to enter higher education. However, they may not be conveniently timed for everyone, and many of our applicants come from abroad and are not able to travel over for one day.

“The VOD will use a variety of media to showcase two of our exciting campuses and offer an opportunity to get a closer look at the facilities and courses we offer here at Anglia Ruskin University. It is a big decision, and applicants deserve to have all the information possible on hand to make an informed choice.”
