A county council spokesperson told the Cambridge Independent: “We can confirm there have been two positive cases in Hardwick and Cambourne Primary School, at the Cambourne campus.

“Those within the affected bubbles are isolating, which includes some children and some teaching staff, as per our process.

“The school remains open and safe to all other children and staff. Parents have been informed and the school is being supported.”
