Trumpington Community College students look ready for some sporting action thanks to kit donation
Students at Trumpington Community College are celebrating the arrival of a new sports kit, thanks to developers Countryside.
The kit allows the students and sports leaders to look smart and professional when they represent the college against other schools at football, handball, and netball tournaments.
Countryside’s strategic land managing director Andrew Carrington said: “We are delighted to offer sponsorship by way of providing new branded sports kits to the college, and hope it will give a boost to the students and teachers.”
Lead teacher of sport Amy Logan added: “Taking part in sports events and coaching in fabulous new kit is going to make such a difference to all involved.”
Headteacher John Jones said the college was overwhelmed by Countryside’s generosity and sponsorship and it was clear that Countryside were making every effort to support the school’s key role within the community.
The sports facilities at the college include floodlit outdoor pitches, a sports building with gymnasium, fitness studios and performance hall.
