Fighter pilot turned landscape artist to showcase work at Cambridge Open Studios
A man who flew fighter planes in the RAF before developing his hobby of painting during retirement will display his work this weekend as part of Cambridge Open Studios.
Dan Walmsley will hold the exhibition at his Great Eversden home on Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18.
The address is signposted in the village - and visitors will be able to enjoy a slice of his wife Pat’s Victoria sponge.
Dan, who also flew passenger planes during his career, has developed into a talented landscape artist and is shown here in front of his studio.
Cambridge Open Studios is running over the first four weekends in July.
You can download a map of the open studio locations here.
