New water slide opening soon at Abbey Leisure Complex in Cambridge

A new 15-metre water slide is to be unveiled later this year at Abbey Leisure Complex on Whitehill Road in Cambridge.

The slide, which will not enter either of the pools, will run from the balcony area down to the floor near the spectator zone. There is no opening date set yet but the centre expects it to be completed “very soon”.

Assistant manager Callum Lewis said: “We are looking forward to the installation of the new slide at Abbey Leisure Complex this autumn. The 15-metre slide is available for children and adults and guarantees family fun throughout the year.”

Abbey Leisure Complex offers an array of facilities and activities including swimming, fitness classes and a 60 station gym.
