Tim’s garden disaster in South Cambridgeshire could win him £1,000 in Ryobi tools
Overgrown, neglected and unsightly, this garden disaster could win a South Cambridgeshire man £1,000 in vouchers from Ryobi.
The power tool company has shortlisted Timothy Mann’s garden in Haslingfield as one of 10 finalists from more than 1,000 entries to its Garden Disasters competition.
It asked appliants to send in images of their neglected gardens and the winner will benefit from vouchers to buy some tools to clear it up.
A survey by Ryobi found those aged 25-34 are the least competent in the garden, with an 87 per cent likelihood that they’ll have had a gardening disaster.
Over-65s were the most green-fingered, but even 62 per cent in this age group admitted they’d had a gardening disaster.
