Win £100 gift voucher and National Trust membership with Cambridge Independent’s inaugural Photography Awards

We’ve been impressed by the brilliant images submitted to our inaugural Photography Awards - and entry to them has just been extended, giving you a chance to win great prizes.

There are sections for amateurs, professionals and camera clubs.

Campkins Cameras, the famous family-run camera shop, will offer a £100 gift voucher to our overall winner, and 16x24 prints for each of our category winners in the amateur section.

Meanwhile, three of our category winners - the winner of the Nature category and two others to be chosen by judges - will also win annual National Trust membership, worth up to £133.

Winners of our Professional Photographer of the Year section will be showcased in the Cambridge Independent and iQ business magazines, while the winning Camera Club of the Year will also enjoy a special showcase of their work. Our sister lifestyle magazine, Velvet, will also feature some of our winners.

There are a host of categories, from landscapes to street photography - even one dedicated to smartphone images, and another for those taken with microscopes or in technical environments.

Our headline sponsor is Visit South Cambs (visitsouthcambs.co.uk), the dedicated tourism site for South Cambridgeshire, run by South Cambridgeshire District Council, which offers a brilliant guide to places to visit and hidden gems.

Editor Paul Brackley said: “We have received many stunning images and we can tell the judging is going to be a tough, but enjoyable task. Don’t miss your chance to enter!”

You can now enter for free until midnight on Sunday December 11, 2022 at cambridgeindependent.co.uk/photography-awards/.
