Thousands of runners took to the city’s streets today (Sunday) for the 2023 TTP Cambridge Half Marathon.

Some 15,000 people took part and a host of good causes will benefit from their efforts, led by headline charity partner Alzheimer’s Research UK and national charity partners Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The 13.1-mile course took participants past a number of historic landmarks into beautiful countryside and into the grounds of two University of Cambridge colleges.

There were just over 30 seconds between the first three finishers, who were:

Others took a more leisurely approach and wore some brilliant costumes. A giant inflatable dog, a mouse, a monkey, a Stormtrooper, a roll of toilet paper, and a toilet were among those seen making their way around the route.
