15-year-old boy taken to hospital with serious injuries after stabbing reports in Coleridge

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after reports of a stabbing on Coleridge Recreation Ground.

A police investigation is ongoing following the incident, which happened at around 4pm on Tuesday (April 23).

A Cambridgeshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: “We were called at about 4pm yesterday (April 23) by the ambulance service with reports of a stabbing in Coleridge Recreation Ground, Davy Road, Cambridge.

“A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries but they are not thought to be life threatening. An investigation is ongoing.”
