20-year-old man admits sexual assaulting woman in a Cambridge nightclub

A 20-year-old man has admitted sexually assaulting a woman at a Cambridge nightclub.

Mohammed Ahmadi, of Baronson Gardens, Northampton, pleaded guilty at Cambridge Crown Court on Wednesday (October 5) and will be sentenced on November 3.

The victim had been with her boyfriend and friends at MASH in Market Passage on October 26, 2021, at about 1am, when she went to the toilet on her own.

As the victim walked back down the stairs, Ahmadi grabbed her waist so she could not move and tried to kiss her on the lips and face.

Ahmadi demanded that the victim kiss him and touched her sexually before she managed to escape from him.

Nightclub staff reported the incident to the police and Ahmadi was arrested upon entering another venue about 15 minutes later.
